There were many gorgeous dress shoes at the beginning of the 1900’s. In those days, every aspect of the shoe was intricately detailed, depending on the craftsman. After that, there was a move away from excessive decoration and more toward design. Using the lavishly decorated shoes of that period as a foundation, this model’s design incorporating an hommage to the forgotten precious techniques of that era. The toe as well as the upper features perforations of various diameters producing a beautiful, intricate design.
